Who operates Crane Retail
Crane Retail is provided by KISHAN IT SOLUTIONS LTD. This policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use the Crane Retail mobile, desktop, and web applications.
Information we collect
- Account information: business name, administrator or staff name, username, role, permissions, email address, and telephone number when supplied.
- Business records: products, stock movements, sales, receipts, quotations, proforma invoices, invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, credit notes, customer or supplier details, and staff activity logs.
- Payment information: payment method, transaction references, subscription status, and the email address or telephone number used to initiate payment. Card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by Crane Retail.
- Technical information: a randomly generated installation identifier, application version, device platform, synchronization status, first and last activity times, and server logs needed for security and troubleshooting. We derive an approximate country from the connection address and retain a one-way fingerprint instead of the raw address for installation analytics.
- Advertising information: on supported mobile devices, Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers, diagnostics, interactions, and approximate location according to device settings and Google’s policies.
How we use information
We use information to provide POS, inventory, reporting, document generation, printing, offline synchronization, account administration, subscription, security, customer support, fraud prevention, and application update services.
Offline storage and synchronization
Crane Retail can store products, sales, stock changes, and session information locally on your device so that core features continue working offline. When a connection becomes available, eligible changes are synchronized with Crane Retail servers. Signing out or uninstalling the app may not delete information already synchronized to the server.
Service providers
Information may be processed by providers needed to operate the service, including hosting infrastructure, Google AdMob for mobile advertising, PesaPal for card payments, and CollectUG for supported mobile-money payments. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your business records or personal information.
Access and permissions
Business administrators control staff accounts and permissions within their business. Authorized administrators may review sales, inventory actions, documents, and audit activity performed by staff. KISHAN IT SOLUTIONS LTD platform administrators may access service records when required for security, support, payment administration, legal compliance, or system operation.
Retention and security
We retain information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain financial or audit records, and meet legal obligations. We use access controls, authentication, encrypted network connections, and operational safeguards, but no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account and associated data. A business administrator can manage staff access. For full account or server-data deletion, submit the account and data deletion request. We may verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.
Children
Crane Retail is a business service and is not directed to children. Users must be legally able to operate or work for the relevant business.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the application, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will remain available at this URL with its updated effective date.
